Connectors on PP1

Power line connectors

The two supplies and returns of Type II cable (AWG 20 wires) are crimped and housed in a 2.54 mm pitch, 4-position, double-row, right angle connector from FCI (former Berg).
The connector is composed of:

    • Signal, HV, shield & control line connectors

    The remaining  15  lines of Type II cable (AWG 28wires, AWG 26 for shield) are crimped and housed in a 20-position, double-row, right angle connector from JST.
    The connector is composed of:
     
  • SM20B-SRDS-G-TF (1 mm pitch, double row, side entry, 20 circuits, shrouded header)
  • SHDR-20V-S-B (1 mm pitch, double row, 20 circuit housing)
  • SSH-003GA-P0.2 (crimp pins for SHDR housing)

    Note that the HV line will be placed at the connector end, the adjacent 5 crimp pins left out of the housing and the mating
    header pins left floating to match the IPC 2.5 mm spacing requirement Also the drain wire (AWG 26, no insulation) is out
    of crimp spec (28-32), so special precautions have to be taken for its mounting.
