SATURDAY,  May 12

· Arrival.
Transportation from the Brnik airport to Bled (~30 km) will be organized, against payment, by the Albatros agency for the conference participants that have required such transport (1-3 persons: 45 EUR/car; more than 3 persons: 13 EUR/person; to be paid to the driver).
Other options are also available, such as taxi (~45 EUR) or local bus service (~15 EUR. Take a bus to Kranj, from where you will have a direct bus to Bled — see Airport—Kranj and Kranj—Bled timetables).

· Registration from 17.00—19.00 at Hotel Kompas in Bled.

· Welcome reception 19.00—21.00, Hotel Kompas, Bled.

 

 

SUNDAY, May 13

· Late registration from 8.00 onwards, Hotel Kompas.

· Conference session, 8.30—12.30, Hotel Kompas.

MONDAY, May 14

· Concert of early baroque and renaissance music (20.00-22.00) will be performed by Musica Cubicularis trio  (Barbara Tisler—soprano, Domen Marincic—viola da gamba, Tomaz Sevsek—harpsichord)  in the church on the Island of Bled.

 

 

TUESDAY, May 15

· Conference session, 8.30-12.00, Hotel Kompas.

· Lunch, 12.00-13.00, Hotel Kompas.

· Excursion with dinner, 13.30-22.00. Two options are offered (please choose one at registration):
a) Visit of historic and touristic sites in Ljubljana, the capital of Slovenia or
b) Hiking trip to the nearby mountains (adequate hiking shoes are required, wind jacket and warm clothing are recommended). The hiking will take us to altitudes of ~2000m and will last roughly 3-4 hours.
The excursion will be concluded with food and wine at the Gostilna Kunstelj in Radovljica.

 

 

WEDNESDAY, May 16

· Conference session, 8.30—12.30, Hotel Kompas.

· Lunch, 12.30—13-30, Hotel Kompas.

· Session and Conclusion of Conference, 13.30—15.00, Hotel Kompas.

· Departures, 15.00 onwards (those requiring transport to the airport should give their departure details at registration).

· Laptop wireless access will be available in the conference hall and in the lobby.
