Ljubljana group contributes to building of ATLAS-High Granularity Timing Detectors, the most advanced timing and tracking detector ever built. The detector will be able to resolve tracks in jets with precision of < 1 mm and time resolution of 30 ps, hence conribute to better operation performance, by mitigating the pile-up as well as extending the physics reach and discovery potential of the ATLAS spectrometer after the LHC upgrade in 2027.
