• Aerogel production

  • R&D was started for n=1.05 aerogel mass production (Chiba-U.). Treatment of DMF is difficult, but use precursors from Fuso-Kagaku and test with different patterns.

• PMT under Magnetic Field (1.5T)

  • R&D with H(A)PD is undergoing
  • Single photon peak was observed with HPD under HV=8kV, fast shaping time=500ns
  • Test with multi-anode HPD(3x3)this year
  • MCP option will be considered together with TOP

• Readout electronics

  • IC’s for multi-anode HPD readout
  • ( only record PMT hit pattern )
    • under preparation & test will be done
