On 21 October 2026, more than 5,000 young people from across Slovenia came to the third Technology Arena (Arena tehnologij) at the Gospodarsko razstavišče in Ljubljana. Tehnološki park Ljubljana organised it, and more than 50 tech companies, research institutions and schools took part.
The Department of Experimental Particle Physics (F9) at the Jožef Stefan Institute joined to make particle physics better known among young people. At our stand, visitors put on a virtual reality headset for a close look at the world of particle physics. Our researchers also answered their questions about research and careers in science. We thank the organisers and everyone who visited us.
