This years International Masterclasses on particle physics were attended by around 50 high school students. Students listened to lectures on the basics of particle physics, medical physics and detectors used in research and medicine. They were also able to visit the Belle II detector in virtual reality. In the afternoon students searched for short-lived particles in the data collected at CERN and KEK and also prepared a therapy plan for treating cancer. At the end students met with their international peers in a video conference and competed in a quiz.
